You are probably mixing up “to orbit” and “to spin”. Pluto orbits (around the Sun) the same direction as the other planets. However it spins (around its axis) the other way round than the other planets.

Looking at the spins of each planet in relation to the Sun – Pluto spins in the opposite direction like Venus and Uranus. Here’s one source you can look at http://spaceplace.nasa.gov/ice-dwarf/en/ or https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/profile.cfm?Object=Plu_Charon. If this is not the case do you have a source or explanation? I would be open to correcting it if that is not the case.
